Had a broken spring that needed to be repaired so I had both replaced. Also had the Genie 2128 installed. The technician was pleasant and provided a quote before I agreed to the work. The work was done well, but from a pricing perspective I feel like it is way over-priced. Generous pricing for the parts would be $500 if purchased retail. The bill was $1300 for a job that was completed in 2.5 hours, putting the labor rate over $300/hour.

Timely, professional, efficient service call, but the markup for 2 torsion springs was near 300% ($295 each compared to $200 per pair online- including warranty. Lesson learned- purchase materials in advance, and then contract with local business for help with installation. $780 to replace 2 springs was a shock!

Came out quickly and repaired our door which was appreciated. However, they arrived over 4 hours early without a phone call first. I was not home and my husband, who works from home, had to leave an important meeting to show him the door.
