Paid $145 to have my door sprayed with lube. Recommended I need new springs for $1k+ . Crazy high pricing but they were able to show up quickly.

Eric, You were charged for adding tension-winds to your current springs, per your request and rewiring safety eyes, Per your request. That is the labor charge cited on your invoice. Please be more honest in review of our services. As we explained to you when we visited: Based on the weight of the door when we visited your house, the wrong springs were put on your door when repaired a couple of yrs ago. Standard Spring replacements of $275 per spring was one option on the lower end, Complete overhaul of the door with a lifetime warranty was another. We're happy for feedback, but please give the technician credit for the work they actually did. My advice for the future is "Be willing to pay for professional work. Then you won't have to call someone out to fix the repair they did two yrs ago again." It's cheaper to do it right once than do it three times wrong.

Moved into a new home and it was clear the garage door needed maintenance and a safety inspection. The door was a 9'x18' torsion spring type commercial door in a garage with 20' ceilings. Definitely out of my capabilities. Luckily the technician from Precision came the next day as he found one of the cables was frayed with several broken strands, the other was unraveling, and a couple of the rollers were gouged from rubbing on the track. He couldn't fix it that day as he didn't have the commercial parts, but he came back first thing Monday to complete the repairs. He was done in a couple of hours and the door went from a screeching banshee, to whisper quiet. Will definitely hire Precision Door again to do the follow-up preventive maintenance.

The springs on one of my garage doors broke. My two car garage was big enough that I could do a 12 point turn to get my car through the door that still functioned. I called Precision on a Friday afternoon, and by noon on Saturday, the repair was done. (I chose Precision because of the great reviews they had and clear contact information.) Matthew came out on Saturday, quickly analyzed and clearly described the problem, explained repair options and pricing. No one ever likes spending money but they were responsive, efficient, and provided a great quality repair.

We found Prestige online and choose them to provide an estimate to put in a new garage door because they had extremely good customer reviews. Greg came out to provide the estimate and was very professional and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and explained the differences between different types of doors. He even called the owner to check on a certain company they are using. He then sent us estimates for the ones we chose. We have not had the door replaced yet but will provide an additional review when we do.
