Be ready to pay $85 when they show up, even to get an estimate. There was no transparancy. We paid money for nothing. Their pricing was out of line for industry standard.
Hello Elaine, While we regret that you are unhappy, there was full transparency when you clicked on the "I agree" box about the site visit fee before you could actually book for a technician to come out. Our technician came out in good faith and created estimates based on what was needed to get your garage door(s) operating properly. In regards to industry standards, we are very much in line with other professional companies in our costs. Our technicians are not handymen, they are highly trained professionals, we are fuly licensed and insured and we stand behind our products and our work. Anytime you are working with professionals you will have costs for their technicians to come out. If you would like, please contact our office and we would be happy to discuss the options further.

The technician arrived onsite at the scheduled time, discussed garage door options available for our house, he was also very polite and professional. Unfortunately, we never received a price quote for the purchase and installation of a new garage door, so this is reflected in our review.

Definitely did not meet expectations, 1000 dollars to replace springs, what a joke, I really hope people do their research, and compare prices. Also to charge 85.00 no matter what, is insane. Terrible technician. Didn’t fix the problem. Didn’t attempt to resolve what was wrong with this newly installed garage door. Tried to sell me a $750 garage door opener even though the one I have works fine. Don’t use this company.

Horrible experience. Technician wasn’t experienced at all. Technician didnt have right parts. Technician asked me if I have that part available. Even spoke to manager about the issue and asked if he could come or send different technician to fix the he problem. Manager was very unprofessional.do not recommend anyone to take their service. This first time and it will be my last time to work with them. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

service was prompt but price was excessive for what was done. 2 cables and 2 springs and 2 pulleys and a $ 400 plus dollar bill after radio and senior citizen discounts. Heard ad on radio though I d give you a try, but never again.

Watch out for these people. Came over and started with one price that was high in itself but I needed the work done. Then they started to add on services until the bill was twice what they started with. Also refused to go back and do just the required service using warranty and liability as an excuse to do a complete overhaul. The garage door and supporting equipment are not that old. Only need the secondary springs changed. Only one was actually broken. I sent them packing. Called another company, came out same day and replaced the two springs for $125. Much better than the $575. that Precision wanted.
Yvonne, Thanks for your feedback. We gave you a couple estimates, one for $375 and another for $575. That is correct and that is what you door needs to be working properly for the long term. Your door has four springs, one of which is broken. This requires replacing all four springs and cables in order to return the door to proper working condition. I'm sorry that you feel we are being dishonest, but that is the fact. Saying you don't need to replace all four springs is like saying you don't need to replace four tires when you've worn down all four tires and one finally popped. You will find that you'll be calling that same company to replace the other two springs in the near future. Then calling again to replace your frayed cables and worn pullies. Our philosophy is to get it fixed right the first time instead of nickle and diming you with multiple visit. Wishing all the best to you.

I feel when a potential customer calls a business for service. I don’t think it is a good business practices to try and make xx money because a customer is in a crisis. I think any and all cost should be explained prior to the tech arriving at your home. I didn’t like that and honestly I would’ve made other choices if I knew they charge 80.00 to lift a door and a service call fee of 30. I felt like it was a little price gouging because I could’ve applied those funds to repairing my garage door. When I called the professional never informed me of such a fee to lift the door for 80.00. And the tech was training a new guy and I stood in the freezing cold waiting for 15 minutes until he explained to the trainee what to do on a job ( pricing for cable, cost of drums, wires, 7 ft door vs. a 8 ft door) I had to say politely can you do this in your truck or outside.
