Watch out for these people. Came over and started with one price that was high in itself but I needed the work done. Then they started to add on services until the bill was twice what they started with. Also refused to go back and do just the required service using warranty and liability as an excuse to do a complete overhaul. The garage door and supporting equipment are not that old. Only need the secondary springs changed. Only one was actually broken. I sent them packing. Called another company, came out same day and replaced the two springs for $125. Much better than the $575. that Precision wanted.
Yvonne, Thanks for your feedback. We gave you a couple estimates, one for $375 and another for $575. That is correct and that is what you door needs to be working properly for the long term. Your door has four springs, one of which is broken. This requires replacing all four springs and cables in order to return the door to proper working condition. I'm sorry that you feel we are being dishonest, but that is the fact. Saying you don't need to replace all four springs is like saying you don't need to replace four tires when you've worn down all four tires and one finally popped. You will find that you'll be calling that same company to replace the other two springs in the near future. Then calling again to replace your frayed cables and worn pullies. Our philosophy is to get it fixed right the first time instead of nickle and diming you with multiple visit. Wishing all the best to you.

I got in my car to go to work and the garage door wouldn't open more than 6 inches. I had no idea what was going on so I went where every other homeowner goes...Youtube! When I realized this wasn't a simple fix I found Precision Door and was impressed by the service. They took all of my information, gave me a quick appointment, Tom called to let me know his eta, and arrived as promised. He gave full explanations about the issue, didn't over sell me on anything, told me about the website coupons, and completed the job within an hour. Super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. A Precision rep came out to measure for new garage doors. When I asked a few questions, he said he didn't have much time but would send an estimate by email. I never received anything.

My technician, Gabriel, was a little late because of traffic. I was not happy, but when he arrived he was such a pleasant person and so competent as a mechanic I was very happy. He was so good he was able to diagnose my problem immediately. He changed my rollers, my springs and the cables. The door now works like new. Great five star service. I would recommend Gabriel to everyone.
