First I must say how much I appreciate your informative website. The repair tech arrived when expected and got right to work to assess the damage. He explained everything in detail and by informing me of wear on existing parts, he let me decide the extent of the repair. Best of all, he didn't try to sell me on something I really didn't need. Cable on our garage door snapped and door wouldn't close. Called around 6pm in the evening and someone was here by 8am. Showed us another possible problem which he fixed also and we were glad he did, didn't want to have to call again in a few months. Repair person was knowledgable and helpful when asked questions. Wouldn't hesitate to call Precision again if we have an issue.

Tom, the technician, arrived on time, was courteous, listened well, and really knew his stuff when it comes to the operation and maintenance of garage doors and openers. Leo from Precision Door showed up promptly at 12:30, as promised by the call center. He inspected our garage door opener and made recommendations, explaining the costs of several options. I am so pleased with the prompt service by Tom Schray. He was very professional and might I add, very funny????????????. I didnt realized that my garage door system was so old untill Tom fixed it, it now closes smooth and operates like a brand new garage door. He provided us with 3 estimates - one for the actual repair. The other 2 estimates were for preventive maintenance services. The choice was ours; there was no pressure.

Quick service, kept me UTD w/ETA. Job completed efficiently and in normal amount of time that I would expect. Not impressed with what I perceive as the upsell... However, I'm at the mercy of my garage door, so in order to avoid taking a chance w/another problem in the near future, I took all the options. My tech told me there was a warranty with what I was repairing so I'm hoping that gets me thru a decent amount of time without having to replace the opener system. Pricing may be a little steep, but I don't have any other company to compare to. I probably could've gotten a whole new system for the amount of $ I spent today. But.... I am completely grateful for the VERY quick response and service so I could use my garage again. Thank you!

My garage door opener failed last evening. I called Precision Door at 8:00 am and Tom Schray was at my house by 10:00 am to evaluate my situation. My opener was 17 years old and the fix was quite iffy considering it's age, I decided to replace it. Tom arrived less that two hours after my emergency call and proceeded to walk me through, A to Z, of what was required to have my garage door back up and operational. Different plans, costs, and products were presented and explained to assist me in making the correct choice. There is much one can take for granted regarding garage doors!.
