I was very pleased by the conversation with the person who answered my phone call and gave a good explanation about the product . I was very impressed with the young man, Gregory who inspected the system and replaced the garage door opener. He was very pleasant and polite. They fixed the garage door that had just broken as well as the one that had been broken for several years that we just wrote off as something we were going to have to replace. The service tech called to note he was on this way and arrived at the scheduled time. He introduced him self and did an evaluation of the problem. I was offered 3 types of solutions to the issue and each was a good value for the money. After my selection I signed my approval and the service tech got right to work. He explained what he was doing and why as he proceeded with the work. He was friendly and professional. The work was done neatly and correctly. He reviewed what he did and noted some routine maintenance things I could do over the coming years. In fact the whole experience from the on line sign up for the service call to the end of the job was positive in every way. I used this company years ago and the same level of great service still exists. I would highly recommend this company and their service techs to any one needing these services.

Watch out for these people. Came over and started with one price that was high in itself but I needed the work done. Then they started to add on services until the bill was twice what they started with. Also refused to go back and do just the required service using warranty and liability as an excuse to do a complete overhaul. The garage door and supporting equipment are not that old. Only need the secondary springs changed. Only one was actually broken. I sent them packing. Called another company, came out same day and replaced the two springs for $125. Much better than the $575. that Precision wanted.

Yvonne, Thanks for your feedback. We gave you a couple estimates, one for $375 and another for $575. That is correct and that is what you door needs to be working properly for the long term. Your door has four springs, one of which is broken. This requires replacing all four springs and cables in order to return the door to proper working condition. I'm sorry that you feel we are being dishonest, but that is the fact. Saying you don't need to replace all four springs is like saying you don't need to replace four tires when you've worn down all four tires and one finally popped. You will find that you'll be calling that same company to replace the other two springs in the near future. Then calling again to replace your frayed cables and worn pullies. Our philosophy is to get it fixed right the first time instead of nickle and diming you with multiple visit. Wishing all the best to you.
